Title: Video -> Connected Media -> Rdio need to restart JRiver if you go somewhere else
Post by: abuck on September 29, 2013, 07:01:39 pm
As per title, if you are in the midle of a song in www.rdio.com (through Video, Connected Media) and you click let say in the overview playing now, the music will stop (which i guess fine, although it would be nice to leave the music playing) but if you come back to your Rdio Connected Media tab and try to resume or try to play another music, it won't do anything :( Look like the only workaround I found is to close JRiver and come back...

How to reproduce:
1) Add www.rdio.com website to your Connected Media
2) Play a music in rdio.com website
3) Click overview in playing now (or anywhere else)
4) Come back to your rdio.com tab
5) try to play a music again

You'll see it won't do anything....

I can't get rdio in Europe but with grooveshark and spotify I can't reproduce the problem ... you do have to relaunch the site and find/restart the music though, which I admit is a real drag.

My workaround is to open two versions of jriver at once if I'm streaming music and still want to look at my music library. Which of course doesn't address the issue at all really  :D

rdio.com is the only one who does it,

should get some attention...
