Title: Error: "The JRiver player core has overflowed during format conversion"
Post by: Mikkel on October 03, 2013, 02:39:42 pm
I decided to buy v19 and re-analyze my audio:
I get this error, though, which I am asked to report :)

See screenshot of the error in attached picture.

Best regards,

Thanks for the upgrade.

This is the first we've seen this error.  What format are you analyzing?  Is it only certain files that trigger it?  What's your CPU?

Thanks.

My best guess is that it is DTS-files that causes the error.

I have .flac and .dts files in my audio album - both stereo and multichannel. I created a smartlist with only .flac-files and they were analyzed with no errors.
With .dts I get a lot of errors - in fact so many that JRiver prompts that it has stopped analyzing because of too many errors. However, because JRiver also stops the analysis it prevents me from provoking the error I reported above.

My cpu is an AMD Athlon II 240e (2.8 ghz) with 12 gb memory.
