I can't figure out how to do this.
I have some CD rips that consist of the complete album as one large flac file. Some albums have the cue file, and some don't.
How the heck do I convert the single flac file to it's individual songs?
Thanks.

You need some sort of a program to do this. there are several free ones that will work. I use Midieval cue splitter. You need the .cue to split the files.

It's best to make a copy of the large FLAC and CUE files outside of JRiver until you have successfully completed.
Import the large FLAC/CUE file into your library if not already.
Select all the songs.
Right click/Library Tools/Convert Format.
Select the FLAC encoder.
Set options to convert to same directory.
Replace original.
Press Convert.
You will now have individual FLAC for each track.

I just tried XRECODE. Seems easy to use and works great.
I couldn't get the conversion to work in JRiver.
Thanks to all who responded.
