Title: JRiver won't launch anymore

Hi All,

I was running on version 19.0.0.45 with no issues for days (in fact JRiver has never crashed on me on any version).

I just turned on my machine and when I double clicked the JRiver icon to launch it, it looked like it went to the internet to do an update and ran an installer.  That installer crashed and now the application won't load at all.

What's my next move?

I have rebooted and everytime I click the icon now it just says "Incomplete Shutdown Detected".  The windows error message pops up and in the details is says the issue is JRTool.exe module if that helps.

download latest installer from this site.
reboot computer.
open task manager.
see if media center 19 or jrservice are running in background.
kill them.
run the installer manually.

Thanks, JRiver is running again however I lost all my custom settings and zones.  I see my music and movies, but I don't see any of my zones.  How can I get back all of my custom settings?

file, library, restore.
do settings only checkbox and uncheck library

Thanks so much!  Worked like a champ!  All is back to normal now :).
