Title: Startup Interface does not hold Mode:Last Exit View
Post by: MusicBringer on October 14, 2013, 05:54:28 am
Hello folks, I noticed MC19 is no longer opening with the View I set at closure.
When I open MC, with split screen, both sections are displaying the Start: Welcome to JRiver Media Center screens on all open tabs. Grrhh!
How come the Mode:Last Exit View is failing to function?
thanks,

Just installed .56.  Still can't seem to get MC to remember "last Exit View"  setting.

did this setting fix it for you?  this setting has been in MC as long as I can remember, and In my case, it stopped working as it's been set to "Last Location" forever.

Yes rayooo, fixed.
That is: both Last Location and Last Exit View.
And like you I suppose my Last Location had been set forever.
Updates do funny things and it seems undone my setting.
Anyway yes it works now - hope yours does too.

Good Grief, I've looked at that setup page 50 times in the last few days and still had it wrong every time.
yes, something must have un-done itself some how. Anyway, all good now!

that is good to hear. :) ive also had some things not going over when moving from 18 to 19... that is ok .. hard to get those things right.. but when I tried to reproduce the problem you two had, after changing one startup setting an otherone changed (play what is in playing now). I did not touch that one.. was wondering if some ini was fighting with the reg... ah well guess im silly, and hard to reproduce, but we are good till 20, and then its just being alert for a bit... it works and is a great program..
