I just completed some ripping and is there a feature in MJ8 that will automatically add ripped audio into your collection without having to refresh it manually?

Not sure if I undestood your question right but Yes, when you rip/encode a CD with MJ
the encoded audio files (mp3, ape, ogg...) are imported into MJ media library automatically.
Your library is updated with your new ripped/encoded songs.
