Title: Unable to uninstall MC18 after MC19 installation
Post by: f.ammollo on October 17, 2013, 03:47:32 pm
Hello,

when trying to uninstall MC18, the uninstaller (JRMediaUninstall.exe) causes a crash in rundll32.exe.

How may I cleanly remove it?

Thank you.

Regards,
Fabrizio

Run MC18, then uninstall.

Or if that doesn't work, install the latest MC18 over the top, then uninstall.

Sorry for the trouble.

Hello,

executing MC18 (which showed the Windows UAC dialog) allowed the uninstaller to correctly run.

After that, I executed MC19, the Windows UAC dialog was shown again, everything is fine (no settings or library lost, it seems ;) ).

Thank you.

Best regards
