Title: Gizmo Using Ad Hoc Network?
Post by: Zhillsguy on October 17, 2013, 06:05:35 pm
Is there a way to do this between an Android (Samsung Galaxy S3) and a laptop (Win 7 Ultimate) using wireless with no router or internet connection?

Thanks.....

I'm not sure.

If it helps, you can enter an IP address into Gizmo.  This removes the need for Internet for Access Key lookup.

Thanks, I have never used Ad Hoc....at this point I can't manage to see my laptop wireless with the phone wi-fi, so I guess first things first.

Try this, http://www.mhotspot.com/
There are a lot different programs that do the same thing.
I think I got it to work this way. :)
