Title: .jtv format - lots of smaller files in a folder??
Post by: muzicman0 on October 21, 2013, 10:57:04 pm
I am experimenting with recording tv in .jtv format...is it normal that is is leaving a bunch of files in a folder?  I assumed it would be like a .ts file, where it is just a single file...is this not the case?

JTV uses chunks so that it can keep portions of shows, or share chunks between recordings for overlap.

I have a fairly powerful machine...it's it possible that .ts is causing the glitches I am seeing in record tv?  I don't like the way jtv is formatted, but I suppose. it's better than the glitches...
