Title: Space for library
Post by: jmschnur on October 23, 2013, 10:52:33 pm: How much disk space should be reserved for the library in MC19 for say 2000 CDs, 5000 JPEG files, and 200 videos? I am talking about the library not the space for the media files.

I am thinking of an SSD for the OS and for th MC library etc with my media files on another disk.

But don't backup to the same drive where your Library is - if that drive fails you lose everything.

Unless you regularly copy the library and it's backups to an external drive to protect against hardware failure.
