Title: JRiver and ts format

I would like to record HDTV programs with DVB Viewer Pro which delivers the resulting file as ts format. DVB Viewer is a high respectable TV broadcasting software.  http://www.dvbviewer.com/en/index.php?page=home

Does JRiver support ts files? Or have I to convert the file from ts to mkv?

The Wiki delivers a clue to ts format:

Media Center can record or play ts files.
