Title: Gizmo App?
Post by: LoliChan on October 28, 2013, 05:19:34 pm
I like what Gizmo does, or at least the idea behind it, but there are a couple of things I would like to take and change.
I want to add a library search feature, since my library is huge, and having to scroll through all of it is quite a pain.
I want to add an actual Time At/Total Time to the video player.
I want to make it so that the video player (maybe the audio player too, I don't know haven't really messed with it) will show you what time you are about to seek to (before actually utilizing your network and time to seek there) and then seek to that location once you remove your finger from the display.
And ideally whatever else I feel like changing.

Additional Info (More specifically to JRiver Inc. itself):
I have a valid JRiver Media Center 19 license
I have done Android development.
I am perfectly capable of implementing these changes.

Not even if I signed legal documentation to only use it for non-commercial, non-profit, personal use? Even if I, myself, am the only one who uses it?

I always found the search fine for my needs. I often use the Voice search even and it works pretty darn good on android.

You can unpack the apk, You can alter it and resign it and side load it onto your device. I have done this many times in the past to change the play buttons and icon, They just change the buttons now though so gladly I will never have to do that again :)

Read up on android dev and youll get all the details.

no need to even decompile anymore- xposed framework can redirect literally any resource or method from any app by deving your own mod.apk  :)
