Title: Renaming and moving files on Library Server

Hi,

Just needed to ask a question before I even try this.

Right now, my Mac is connected to a library server which is running on Windows 7. I plan to use my Mac to do the library management and just sync the changes across. One is, how does moving files work or will it not work at all?

My Mac can mount the music directory but all it sees is \Volumes\Media Center Music\

On Windows, it is F:\Media Center Music\

Just wondering if anyone tried this.

You can't.  Rename, Move, and Copy files doesn't work.  By the way, this is nothing to do with Mac vs. Windows.  It doesn't work from Windows clients either.
