Title: Won't play 2xDSD [Solved]
Post by: PhilipAC on November 01, 2013, 12:46:02 pm
Hi

I have a DSD128 DAC. I have gone in to DSP>Output Format and changed it to 2xDSD, and changed the Audio Device to Combo384 Amanero (Core Audio), which is my USB module, but when I try to play something it comes up with "Playback Failure. Playback cannot be started on the output Core Audio using the format 2.8MHz 64bit 2ch".

Are there other settings I need to change please?

Thanks

Lampizator Level 5 DSD DAC.

And now when I try to play something it goes racing through each of the songs continuously and won't stop- but no sound. I have to close it down to stop it!!

I have done a totally fresh download of JRMC19, and as soon as I try to play either DSD or 2xDSD, the program starts cycling rapidly through all the tracks of the file.

This version does NOT work with a MBP and a Lampizator!

If you've been trying integer mode, please turn it off and power cycling the computer and DAC.  Does that make a difference?

I'm on Mountain Lion, which I understand doesn't support Integer Mode. So I presume I'm not on Integer Mode- but how can I check Integer Mode is not switched on in MC?

Thanks

Sorry Matt-ignore above. I have now found how to check, and I am NOT using Integer Mode.

Must be something else! Help!
