Title: No sound from Media Editor

Everything else seems to work in Media Jukebox, but I can't get a selection to play in Media Editor after I have opened it -- even though the "play" triangle is "on."  When I click on the triangle to start playing the selection, the "stop" square goes "on" and nothing happens.

Try closing Media Jukebox when using the Editor.

Otherwise, try the option MJ -> Options -> Playback -> Unlock sound card when music stops

Thanks, Matt, for your response.  I started following the steps you suggested, but for reasons I can't explain, the Media Editor worked just fine all by itself.  That kind of thing happens to me frequently:  After some long while that the computer has been running, in and out of various programs, all of a sudden none of my audio players will work.  I reboot, and then everything is just fine.  Thanks again for your help.
