When I try to use MC's Options > File Types to associate file types with MC on Windows 8.1, it doesn't work.
I get the UAC prompt, and MC seems to think it worked (the File Association box toggles on and off and remembers the setting), but the association doesn't actually change. The same seems to apply to selecting them in the Setup Wizard.
Not sure if there is anything you can do about it, but it is annoying. Now looks like I have to manually pick each one via the Windows method.
