Hello,

.068 crashed when starting to play audio file with M2TECH HIFACE 2 in Integer Mode,

Every now and then MC 19.0.68 will crash. This is just when playing back music. Attached is a log file.

Another random crash, it happened within 5 minutes of starting MC 19.0.68. I was playing back an album of DSD128 files (all previous crashes were without DSD128 files).

unstable version.
for example it crashed during start of music.
and various other unexpected crashes.

I'm getting frequent crashes also doing various operations - I've had half a dozen in the last 10 minutes.  I'll send a log if you want.

I got also several unexpected crashes with this version. Especially while playing music it is annoying.  :(

Trying to find some commonality here.  Can people experiencing the crashes answer these questions?

1. integer mode?  (taz_er88 = yes)
2. osx version? (taz_er88,muzzer,bplexico = 10.9)
3. memory playback?  (bplexico = yes)
4. playing from a library server?

Also, Media Center logs and Mac crash reports would be helpful. Thanks.

I'm using a mac mini with 16 GB RAM, 2,3 GHz, Intel core i5,connected via USB to PS-Audio DAC

As an aside till recently I had shuffle mode enabled but turned it off Sunday, now playing without shuffle mode and no crashes all day long. But going to keep it running while at work to see if I get a crash.

And clearly everyone is an "early adopter, throw caution to the wind type", as everyone seems to have one thing in common, Mavericks...

Ok, new day.

Booted Mac Mini up. Scenario as follows

Integer mode
Mavericks
AND Shuffle mode enabled
this song was stored on local disk drive of mac as I had the NAS turned off this morning.

I booted the system, reset log and then selected the first song and it crashed.

Attached is log file and Apple crash report, I emailed these in as well.




Ok - this has both a MC log file and the contents of the Apple crash report.

p.s. if I repeat the experiment the file plays.

I'm a bit confused,

.068 doesn't crash anymore. No way ;)

To achieve that I first selected the M2TECH HIFACE 2 audio interface, then activated the Integer Mode, closed the Options window, closed Media Center, reboot, run MC and since now problem at all,

Don't know if it helps in any way
