Title: Viewing DVD Particles in Theatre View

I’m looking to use “particles” to allow ripped DVD of a TV show to be split into separate episodes. The process that I’ve followed is to a) rip DVD, b) auto-generation of particles and c) tag particles via “get movie & TV info”. All this has worked but the Theatre View just shows the entire DVD rather than the individual particles. What do I need to do to get particles to show in Theatre View?

Did you add Season and Episode numbers?

Yes, added Season and Episode numbers (as well as Series) then tagged using "Get Movie & TV info" using this information.

Make sure the Media sub type is TV Show, not Movie which is the default when importing a DVD.  The particles will use by default what the source is.  What I do is first set the DVD to TV Show, do the auto create particles, then change the disc to Other.  I also use the comment field to hide the disc from appearing in theater view.
