Post by: zeus on November 08, 2013, 12:14:19 pm
Hi,

I am trying to test out USB audio connection to external receiver and it seems jriver do not output the sound. Do you know if I am missing some steps in the setup.itunes music is able to transmit the sound to my receiver via a USB audio but not jriver.

So are you connecting your Mac via USB to an external DAC?

If yes, have you configured JRiver for that device?

Tools->Options->Audio->Audio Output

Under device does it show your DAC?

Under core audio setting I selected my cambridge audio sun as the device.
Should I select dad under output encoding

What is a Cambridge a Audio Sun?  I don't see this listed on their site as a DAC. If it is your DAC then that is what should be selected and shown as previously described.
