Title: Possible to stop Control Bar from flashing on during playback?
Post by: jbd on November 10, 2013, 02:06:43 pm
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum, but I couldn't see where I should ask this question as a MC18 user... here goes...

While watching a movie, the Control Bar occasionally flashes up on the screen even though (1) I have not touched the mouse, the keyboard, or my Logitech K400r wireless keyboard/mouse remote and (2) the cursor is not hovering over the Control Bar area anyway.

Is there a way to stop this behavior?  It's distracting for movie watching.  I searched these forums and in Google and didn't find any related information.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

It's probably the mouse reacting to a vibration.

It's probably the mouse reacting to a vibration.

Mouse vibration seems like a very sensible theory, so I tried turning off the power to my Logitech keyboard / mouse combo remote and I also unplugged the regular mouse from its USB port.  The Control Bar still pops up now and then at about the same rate.

Is there something else I could try?

Thanks...
