Title: Buffering issues in 19.072?
Post by: moosehunt63 on November 10, 2013, 09:00:33 pm
Is anybody else having buffering issues with hi-res files 192/24 pcm flac in the latest build? I am streaming from a NAS to a mac mini over cat6.  I have tried it with both play files from memory checked and unchecked. Never had issues prior to this build. Thanks!

Hi, I am streaming from a NAS as well to my Mac Mini - as of this morning - with the current build both DSD and 24/192 files were streaming properly without any buffering issues. NAS connect to Apple Extreme (802.11ac version) via ethernet. Mac Mini on different floor connected to Apple Extreme (802.11ac version) via ethernet.

Sorry that doesn't help address your issue.

Thanks for the input. Just trying to isolate the issue, probably need to do some network troubleshooting.

You should update to 19.0.73.  Not sure if the buffering was affected, but there were other issues with builds 71 and 72.

Thanks John! The update to 19.073 seems to have fixed the issue.
