Title: T2 channels not working
Post by: chug on November 13, 2013, 08:01:51 pm
Managed to fix the reception issue with the portable antenna powerer. When I use the TV with that feature built in, the HD channels work fine.

When I try to click on one in the JRiver panel, it'll freeze whatever is on the screen and won't show the channel. JRiver doesn't lock up though, I can change to any other channel and it'll work.

I've tried literally every other DVB program I can find on google and not a single other will even acknowledge the HD channels exist, so could well be an issue that isn't related to JRiver. Seems to work ok apart from the HD channels.

I have a TBS dual tuner 6280, and haswell build.

Which version of MC are you using?  If not the latest, please try it (build 19.0.74 is available on MC19 board now).

DVB-T2 channels should work in MC18 except those with AC3-Plus (E-AC3) audio.  Does your tuner device support DVB-T2?

Tuner supports the T2 channels fine. They wouldn't show otherwise surely?

No, it's just that E-AC3 was only recently added in MC19.  We have stopped working on MC18.

So JRiver 18 doesn't support T2 channels?

So JRiver 18 doesn't support T2 channels?

T2 channels that use AC3 audio are supported, those with E-AC3 are not supported.
