Title: Default Online database for Get Movie information
Post by: Samson on November 15, 2013, 03:41:56 pm
Seems like an obvious one but can't find where to set the default online database to get movie info. MC allows choosing the database for individual movie look-up which is great but tedious for multiple movies. Batch look-up doesn't allow choice of database or any hierarchy assignment.MC seems to use IMDB by default. If say I prefer Rotten Tomatoes I have to process one by one. Similarly automatic batch look-up can be set on import but not the preferred database. Any solution? Thanks

No answers suggest this is normal MC behaviour....however for some reason the post was not flagged as "new",perhaps it hasn't attracted much attention.

Sorry, but it's not configurable in automatic mode.  We're near our usage limit for Rotten Tomatoes (and over some days), so automatic lookup takes this into account.

Thanks Matt for reply. This also explains why Rotten Tomatoes is not working on some days.
