Hello,
Does Media Center 19.0.67 support DSD 5.64 Mhz playback?
I am running Windows 8.1 with a USB connection to my Luxman DA-06 USB DAC.
The Luxman Audio Player plays for Windows 8.1 back the files with no problem.
If I have Output Encoding set to None, then I get the error:
Playback could not be started using the format: 705.6kHz 64bit 2ch
Then when I okay out of that screen I get another message saying:
Playback could not be started on the output ASIO using the format: 705.6kHz 64bit 2ch
If I have Output Encoding set to DSD in DoP format, then instead of playing at 5.64 it plays at 2.82 with a lot of static in the sound and the vocals sound extremely slow and cannot be listened too.
Any ideas?
Chris

Are you trying to upsample the PCM to DSD ? Or
Are you trying to play the DSD record ?
In the first case, ensure that you choose the correct ASIO device then choose the 2xDSD ( DoP or Native ) in the Output Encoding of the DSP.
In the second case check try to check the DSD bitstreaming.

Hello,
Trying to play a DSD file.
The setting to DSD bit streaming worked!
Thanks!
