Hi
My new car radio seems not to like some formats when it uses an iPod as a source, I suspect its doesn't like MP3 (Honda CRV std Radio ??)
When I sync my iPod , what format does it transfer to the iPod
My library is a mix of FLAC, MP3 and a limited number of iTunes original rips. I believe FLAC will be converted to 128 bps , but is that as MP3 or Apple format
Any Ideas ?

Have a look at Tools\Options\Handheld\Conversion to see what is being converted to what.

Sorry for the delay !
Its set up as MP3 Normal quality which I assume will drop it all to 128 bps
If I am right , and my radio doesn't like MP3 , is there a way of converting MP3 or FLAC to Apple M4A via media centre , I suspect not or is back to iTunes ?

It would be surprising to find a device that won't play MP3 now. It might not play VBR MP3 or very high bitrates. But try 128 constant bitrate (CBR)
