Title: Questions: Is there a sleep timer? Is there a controllable screen dimmer?
Post by: ajowers on November 17, 2013, 12:19:38 pm
Hi,

I just upgraded to MC19.

Two things I have wanted for a while.  If already in there I apologize...

1.  While in theater mode, I like to play music at night and then sometimes fall asleep.  can I activate a sleep timer for MC and configure an action like "suspend" after a period of time like 90 minutes and activate it using the remote? I would think if when 90 minutes arrives it would slowly fade to silence then tell the computer to suspend ....

2.  I just noticed that the theater view auto dims already but is there a way to use my remote like a screen dimmer switch for theater mode in the dark.  when I am in bed and reading at night with music playing with MC18 the album art "now playing" would be annoyingly bright and I wished I could grab the remote and dim it down to something I can see but much dimmer for that just right ambiance .....

Thanks in advance.... :)

Anthony
