I'm curious about this too.  It is core audio-only functionality, and MC's ripping and conversion engine is nicer to use and more flexible than most things I've used on OSX.

I'm confused. How is this not a bigger topic. Does nobody else using MC for Mac need to rip CDs? I just assumed when I upgraded to MC19 that ripping would be one of the upgrade features from MC18. I'm willing to wait as long as it takes and as many versions as it takes because I am a longtime MC user and it is the best, but I don't see myself going through the trouble to upgrading again until it is included. Please clue us in on the plan, and what the hang up is. Thanks, ROB

I hope we can add it for MC19, but we can't promise.  It appears that making SCSI calls isn't as easy on Mac as it is on Windows.  If you won't be happy with MC until it has ripping, please wait to purchase.

Ahh, I see the topic is bigger, thanks for the thread link Matt. Good to see ripping is in the works, I look forward to it when it is ready. Anyways, truth be told, I upgrade more to support MC Mac than for features, and the upgrade price was very reasonable so happy to do it.
