Title: Possible to change how JRiver DLNA Server responds to search queries ?
Post by: mirdle on November 22, 2013, 06:29:30 pm
I'm running JRiver 19 on a Windows 7 PC.

I have it set up as a DLNA server that my android device can connect to, acting as the controller/renderer.

When I perform a music search using BubbleUPnP on my android for a title (example: "man of steel"), I get a list of track names that contain "man of steel" and only one album is returned.

When I type the same string in the JRiver 19 search box on my Windows 7 PC, it correctly returns many more albums that contain that title.

Any ideas as to why fewer results are returned when running the search from the android?

Also, is it possible to program the JRiver DLNA server to return only albums containing the search string, instead of albums and track names?

Thanks for any help.

The author of BubbleUPNP posts here.  He may answer, but you could also try posting in one of the threads where he has posted.  Just try searching for BubbleGuum.
