Title: MC19....issue with video crashing...
Post by: Wungun on November 24, 2013, 08:29:06 am
This occurs usually not until 20-40 or more minutes into a video...
Screen goes black, audio freezes, desktop not recoverable...
Doesnt seem to matter what video...
Tested with VLC player and no issues.

I think this is probably a hardware problem.

It could be audio or video.  Since MC talks to both differently than VLC, it's not an apples-to-apples comparison.

Some things to try:
Update video drivers
Toggle Red October mode in Options > Video
Try a different audio output mode in Options > Audio

Is this an official JRiver tech support response??

I'll try different output modes...although my receiver only seems to see Direct Sound output.... disable JRSS mixing... All drivers are up to date.
Red October...doesn't seem to be able to toggle "off".
