Title: MC 19 Mac Mono
Post by: drblank on November 25, 2013, 12:10:29 am
I have some stereo recordings that were originally mono and was wondering how I can select (if possible) to play back these recordings as mono instead of stereo since I can't obtain the mono versions.

Is it something I can set automatically when those specific tracks are selected, or is it an easy to turn on/off the feature without having to stop the player and restart it?

I've looked through all of the menu options and haven't seen anything relating to mono playback or maybe I missed it.

Thanks!

In DSP Studio select Output Format and set the channels to '1 channel (mono)'
This can be changed at anytime but will only take effect when playback is stopped/started again.

If the MAC Version has ZoneSwitch (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Zones#ZoneSwitch) you can create a new zone with the above setting and then create a Zone Switch rule to activate it automatically (using some tagging) for the files you want to play in Mono.
