Title: PLay You tube over DLNA
Post by: Martijn Visscher on November 25, 2013, 09:44:09 am
Hi,

I'm playing audio files over DLNA without any problems.
When trying to play a you tube file over DLNA (option; play inside JRiver), I get the well known 'there was a problem' error.
I have tried to find corresponding threads but could not find the right ones.

Could you help or link to a thread that helps me?

Thanks,

Martijn

Setup:
- JRiver on A Laptop
- AC Ryan plyon mini (1); receiver (renderer?)
- Usher DV-9 Dac / Surround receiver

Youtube isn't supported over DLNA.

Youtube isn't supported over DLNA.

Just to bump up an old, yet relevant thread - is there any change in JRMC20 as far as playing youtube into DLNA?
Thanks, Yair

I'm new to MC and have to say that I am really surprised that we can't do this. I sort of assumesd that it would be possible. What's the point of having youtube in connected media if it doesn't work? DLNA is the whole point. Is there anything else out there that does do this?

you might try Jamcast (virtual soundcard feature)
