Title: Changing Genre crashes MJ
Post by: oandrew on March 03, 2002, 03:26:56 pm
I get a message when trying to change the genre for some files that the tag couldn't be written because the file is in use, read-only, or tagging has been disabled in MJ. None of these is true, and the program usually crashes after clicking OK. Presumably this is a bug...
not sure how else to report it or if there are any workarounds.

OS is Windows XP with all latest updates on Dell dual 1.7G Xeon workstation.

Andrew

If you have version 7, then you've already posted it as a bug. If you've got version8 Beta, then it may be better to post it in the thread entitled '8.0.217 Beta Available' within this forum. If you include details of your OS etc (get this from MJ -Help, System Info. Copy it to the clipboard and then paste it in your post), this will help to determine the problem.

Or, don't change genres.
