Title: User Accounts - Playing Now
Post by: DoubtingThomas on November 25, 2013, 04:24:39 pm
I have a user account set up to not show any track with Rating 1.

If I set a track in Playing Now to Rating 1, it does not remove itself from the list.   The track is removed from other playlists as soon as l click the Rating 1 star.

If in Playing Now, I set a track to Rating 1, and then switch to the administrator account and then switch back to the RestrictedRating1 user account, the track I just rated 1 is removed from the PlayingNow playlist display.  Depending on how many tracks in PlayingNow were set to rating 1, the highlighted row may or may not move to the current playing track.

Why would Playing Now and other playlists have different behavior with User Accounts?

Since I *usually* do my rating from scripts calling MC19.exe, for setting a Rating 1, I set Rating 1, then change to UserAccount-Administrator and the right back to my UserAccount-RestrictedRating1 user.  This is a clumsy workaround.

Is this a programming issue or is MediaCenter 19 working as expected?
