Title: Burning Advice Please
Post by: BarryD99 on March 03, 2002, 11:38:06 am
Running 8.0.217
Win 2000

Have never tried to burn a disk with MJ 8 before, MJ 7 worked fine but when I tried to use Nero or CD Creater, both programs couldn't see the burner.

When I tried burning at MJ 8, I got a window with a bunch of error messages (from MJ8 I think)

Thinking that the problem might be that I was missing cdrw drivers, I installed a new CD writer and then reloaded Nero 5.

Nero works fine- I can burn disks.

OK, now when I try to burn a disc with MJ8, I
click on the burn cd icon, I get the burn window,
the status says waiting to write but nothing happens.  Do I need to click on a start button or something?

Hope I'm just being a dummy.

Thanks in advance for your help.

OK, I'm not a total dummy.  I'm running my monitor at 640 by 480 because I'm using a projection TV.  I can't see the right part of the screen on the burn window.  I t has three buttons there that I can't read.  What are they?

why don't you just resize MJ so you can see them due to the problem you are having with your projection TV

Even if I reize, I, can only see the very left portion of the buttons and cannot read what they are.  I assume one is start, one is cancel, what is the third?

The burn dialog will be fixed to work better under 640x480 resolution in the next build.
For now, I'll just tell you that the buttons from top to bottom are "Start", "Cancel", and "Settings".
