Title: DLNA Media Network Activity continuous subcribe events
Post by: doug2761 on November 26, 2013, 04:48:52 pm
I was looking into some of the functionality around media servers and streaming when I looked at the Media Network activity log and noticed that MC Media Server seems to be continuously logging subscribe events.  A new one shows up in the activity log ever 1-2 seconds.  Any idea what could be causing this, if I should stop it, and how to stop it?  Including a picture of the activity log for reference.  Looking at the console utility on my Mac I don't see anything strange.

Do you have an LG TV?  We've seen a similar problem.

No LG TV.  Could it be the My River iPhone remote control application?

Not sure what this could be.  You could try removing devices from your network one at a time to see if you can find the culprit.  In any case, the subscribing is probably not harmful.
