Title: Why We Find the Thunker WIndow? The What?
Post by: Callithumpian on March 02, 2002, 09:09:12 pm
MJ has been crashing intermittently during playback for a while:\
In my "Windows/Temp" directory I noticed a brand new .log file imediately after one of these crashes.
There were also a couple of .tmx files - all small.
Anyway, the contents of the log file, in addition to posing the doozie question in the title,  point to MJ, and I thought it might help someone figure something out.

It's rare to see those little icon faces in a log file--maybe that's what keeps crashing MJ--that poor little icon guy looks his head is reeling from trying to figure out just exactly how things could have ever gone so far south so quickly that he ended up in a text file. Do you think he's Thunker, looking for a window out? Is the log file the little icon guy's S.O.S.? Does anyone here read little icon guy code writing? Hang in there poor little icon guy, we're on the case . . .

Poor little Thunker. Maybe he's Thinker's son. Past tense, you know.

Oh well, in the South it makes sense.

I can hear it now--JimH, "Based on the log file it doesn't appear to be an MJ problem--the problem is that a little icon guy named Thunker is crashing in your computer."
