I paid for my Media Center for Mac back while the program was still in Alpha. After a hiatus, I reinstalled Media Center 19 & asked JRiver for a registration key. They sent me one, but when I double click it, I get an error message saying the key isn't valid for my software. Despite this, they continue to increment my number of reinstalls down every time I try.
Why is this happening? Is it my problem or JRiver? What must happen to get this fixed?
Thanks.

Was the key for MC18 or MC19 for Mac?

Was the key for MC18 or MC19 for Mac?
They were different? I thought once one bought the "full" key it was good for all future versions.
On Nov. 28th, I mailed JRiver & asked for a registration key. The one they sent me says:
"You have recently restored a licence for Media Center Mac 18. There are 10 restores available in each 12 month period. There are 5 restores remaining at this time."
So what's the deal? Do I need to ask for another registration key now that I've installed JR-19?

You have an MC18 Mac license.
You can find MC18 Mac here:

I was going along just fine for a few months now and enjoying my JRiver.
Then it would not open. I tried again and again and worked from 10 restores down two 2 in 2 tries at the computer.
I got frustrated and bought a second $49 license. And guess what, it won't let me on with the new license either.
Very frustrating, and suggestions to help me.
The message always reads, " there was a problem communicating with the license server".

The version you're using must match the version of the license.
This should help:
