MC uses TV metadata. However it follows its "own system", would it be possible to follow the same system as say XBMC or something else? It seems like the difference between the specific ways to store XML-files, episode pics, posters and background-picture is mainly "tradition", and there is a lot of different programs that downloads this metadata, like for instance Sickbeard, but if MC used the same system as a another programs, the downloaded metadata would work fine, now it doesn't because not many external programs support the MC-system.

It would be nice if MC could read NFO files. Agreed.
