Title: Missing Drives & Devices Section
Post by: amorph on December 06, 2013, 11:59:51 pm
Hi, coming from the windows version of MC I miss a pretty important feature: the Drives & Devices Section in the sidebar. I used this a lot to navigate to Media-Files on my Harddisk and tag them without importing them to my library. Is this not implemented on the Mac? Will it be implemented? Or is it there somewhere and I missed it?

Thanks

It's not in the Mac version.  Sorry, I can't give a timetable for implementation other than "it's on the list".

I am a recent convert to MC. The one feature that would make me truly happy is the support for drag and drop files to my iPod Classic. Is this on the list with the missing Drives & Devices Section?

If it works at all, you should be able to open the Handheld section of the Action Window (lower left corner) and drag files to it.

JimH, I don't see a Handheld section in the Action Window. I just see Build Playlist and Tag. Am I missing something? Thank you!

It isn't in the Mac version.  Sorry.  My mistake.

Well get that feature in there! FLAC drag and drop with conversion to a 160gb iPod Classic. Pleeeeeeeze! I'll be your best friend.
