Title: How to get a stray song into an album?
Post by: Todd R on December 10, 2013, 06:56:01 pm
I'm going through my library and I have an album with one song not included. I found the missing song, but can't figure out how to get it back with the rest of the songs in the album. Going to where the file is located on my hard drive shows the song is in the proper spot within that album's folder.
I've tried using the library tools, but it's a mystery as to what I'm supposed to do with them.

In a view, show this track, and the tracks that should be all part of the same album.  Select the tracks.  In the Tag Action Window, look at Album, and check for <Varies> or a single Album name.

"Show this track" ?
How?
I'm right clicking and don't see that option in any of the menus

Use the Files view, and use some search term in the Search box in the upper right of MC. That should make it easier to narrow the list.
