Title: Upgrading from MC15. Wich path? Does it worth it?
Post by: jorgejl on December 11, 2013, 06:30:32 am
Hello there.

I'ts been long since i stopped using Media Center, but lately i've started to use Windows again. (linux and mac user for some years)

Now i restored my MC15 license and i'm happy with it, but i was wondering:

What should be the best (and cheapest) upgrade path?
1. Buy new license
2. Upgrade from application to v17 and then to v19 ¿?

Does it worth it?
I mean, what are the killer features i will be missing? I'm using windows 8 if that accounts.

Thank you all

P.S.
I forgot my old forum account, sorry to look like a noob ^^

You could start here:
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=82730.0

In that thread there is a link to instructions and another to features.

You can find features of any version by looking for a "Features" thread at the top of each board.

This link also has information about restoring a license for any version:
