Title: Leaving option menu hangs the program

I am using Mavricks on a Macbook Air.
When I go to Options on the tool menu I can go to all the submenu's and eventually change settings.
But when I am ready and click the OK button it is over. The program is not responding anymore and I have to force stop.

I'm not seeing that here.  I wonder if the options dialog is losing focus somehow.  Does it make any difference if you click OK or Cancel or the red close button in the upper left?  Does it only happen if you change a certain option?

I also had MC18 installed. I tried today and no problems with the options menu. MC18 I could not run anymore (trial period expired).Maybe both version conflicted.
