Title: ReplayGain new changed values / not consistent??
Post by: magnust on December 15, 2013, 04:19:21 am
I've always used DBPoweramp for managing my music. Compressing everything to level 5 FLAC and analyzing/adding RG tags.

The odd thing is that when I analyze music with MC19 the RG value is not the same as the one analyzed by DBPoweramp!!??! I thought RG was done in a specific known way and would come out the same??

In the sreenshot you can see both the file tag RG and the RG from MC19:

Media Center 19 is using R128 for analysis now, not ReplayGain.
ReplayGain tags derived from the R128 data will be added to files though.

I suggest switching to R128 analysis in dBpoweramp, or not performing any analysis there and having Media Center do it on importing the files. (MC's analysis should be quicker)
