Title: JRiver streaming 720p instead of 1080p??
Post by: olag00 on December 15, 2013, 09:44:45 am
I have JRiver 19.0.87.
I have all movies burned to a network drive.

I have LG and Samsung TVs displaying as zones in JRiver using DNLA.
All TVs are hard wired with Cat6 to the network.

When I select a TV and a movie, it streams 720p instead of 1080p.

My media room projector is connected through an ONKYO receiver with an HDMI input from the HTPC (JRiver).  When I play a movie here, it is 1080p.  Only when I use the JRiver as media server and find the file through the TVs interface it streams 720.

Any ideas why this would be the case or how I can fix it?  Can 1080 not be streamed over Cat6?  My direct TV setup is using HDMI over Cat6 with no problems.

On the server side, please check the conversion settings.

I just downloaded the FREE program PLEX media server and it streams just fine 1080, so it is something with JRiver...
