Title: Volume levels on playback
Post by: Adam_Mather on September 08, 2003, 05:27:22 am
I have riped quite a few cd and while playing back the files, found the volume levels are all different.

Is there a way to correct the volume on already ripped files. (mp3 format)

Yes somewhere on the internet there is atleast one freeware version of an mp3 editor  how well it works i dont know.?    i mostly convert them back to wav and then use the wav editor i have to boost the volume.  if you bought mjb you have a wav editor in  it that is very good  as you can boost the  volume according the dynmics of the song like adjusting the equlizer and then saving it to the file  so you  never need the equlizer again  unless you just want to use it.

but that can make the song really loud. 8) :o
