Title: Bad hum in the background

As I am playing a particular cd - (Namely "Heart for Israel" vol 2) there is a most unpleasant hum in the background. On my HiFi the cd is perfect--

Can Any one volunteer a reason or a  solution ??
As I rip the same cd the hum is there om the ripped track as well

All other music seems grand- no problems. When I play throug Windows media player I have the same hum

If it's a reasonably new disk, it could be copy protected.

Can you tell me more about the cd?
Israeli cd,us,uk?Is it a various artists disc?Give me names of some singers/bands
I do not think i can be of big help if this cd is protected,but i may find out if it is a protected cd
Give me the label as well.NMC?Hed-Arzi?
