Title: Crash with DSD files
Post by: wappinghigh on December 21, 2013, 06:50:48 pm
Everytime I go to play a multichannel DSD file JR OSX crashes. I’m using an Exasound e28. The harwarde manufacturer has confirmed the bug. Can you please fix this? I’m on 19.0.100
Thanks

Please post a Mac crash report.  Here's a link for how to find it: http://serato.com/scratchlive/support/6600/how-to-get-a-crash-log-in-mac-osx (http://serato.com/scratchlive/support/6600/how-to-get-a-crash-log-in-mac-osx)

I had the same problem and I change the following options and it worked fine:
Tools > Options > Audio > Settings > Bitstreaming
 and choose Yes (DSD)

Thanks for the info. Could you share what settings you used for the Device Settings?  Channel Offset is the one that is particularly unclear to me, but the others would be useful to know also.

This is for my E28.
