Title: Ripped DVD Audio to DLNA Stereo
Post by: ripmurdock on December 27, 2013, 02:16:21 pm
Has anyone had any luck playing DVD Audio from a disc or ripped file, for either a movie DVD or a music DVD, to a DLNA enabled HiFi?  I've tried all of the audio conversion options, but I don't get any audio on the HiFi.  Playing FLAC files to the HiFi works fine.

I'm hoping that once I get DVD Audio playing to the HiFi, I will be able to use Link Zone to combine my DLNA enabled projector and HiFi and get the audio on the HiFi.  So far, the audio only plays on the tinny speakers in the projector itself when playing DVD files.

I'm using a Squeezebox Touch with Whitebear to render the audio and an LG projector for the video.  Thanks.

If nothing else works, you can use the Convert Video to Audio (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=80684.0) tool to convert the audio in a DVD to FLAC files.
