Title: No Video Only Audio
Post by: Jeff R 1 on December 28, 2013, 01:11:52 pm
This is a MKV of a Blu-ray, I can hear the audio _ all I can manage to get is what you see in the screen shot. How do you get the video to show up on the screen ? In all players that I've tried the video comes up automatically _ what am I missing here.
There is obviously something that I am missing...  :P

The file appears to be called ".mka", which means "Matroska Audio", typically used for audio-only files. I would suggest to rename it to ".mkv", or manually change its Media Type tag to "Video".

Thanks for the fast response, I would have never figured that one out. The file was created with MakeMKV and I have no ides why it was named MKA. Both audio and video always worked with other players that I have been experimenting with involving SVP.
