Just starting to look into 3D and considering a new TV.
Can MC play 3D yet?
Will my nvidia gforce 9500GT play 3D.

I was just getting ready to ask that question. In addition to that which types of glasses will it support?
-
No MC internal player doesn't support 3D Bluray playback. You can playback mkv's with Half Side by Side 3D (and I assume over under) you will just need a TV that is capable of converting it to whatever format it displays 3D in (I.e. active or passive).

Personally, I don't like 3D films or other pre-recorded content. I think 3D is worthwhile in games, but I'd rather watch 2D films.
My TV has 3D support, but I never use it.

No. I think Madshi is working on 3D support for madVR, though it's not a high priority item.

No, you need HDMI 1.4 for 3D, which means it requires the GeForce GTX 260 and up.
